On the territory of Kazakhstan there is the world-famous archaeological complex of Tanbaly. In 2004, it was included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. The archaeological landscape of Tanbala features an astonishing concentration of approximately 5,000 petroglyphs, associated settlements and burial grounds, which together provide evidence of the agriculture, social organization and rituals of pastoral peoples from the Bronze Age until the early 20th century.

On our tour we will visit the petroglyphs of the archaeological landscape of Tanbyly, which are recognized masterpieces of rock art, as well as the petroglyph museum.
